The 2026 Berkeley Emerging Technologies Research Symposium will featured invited research talks from experts in industry and academia on next-generation hardware for AI, data communications, and heterogeneous integration. During a fireside chat we will celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Field Effect Transistor, and a student and postdoc poster session will round out the program. As UC Berkeley’s premier hub for academia-industry collaborations in physical electronics research, we expect the BETR Symposium to again bring together attendees from a wide range of industry, national labs, and academic institutions for a day of networking, exchanging ideas, and building partnerships.
