Dorottya Urmossy is a graduate student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2025 and later joined Javey Research Group, first as an M.S. student and then as a Ph.D. student.
Research
Dorottya’s research interests include the study of next-generation electronic devices and nanomaterials. She is currently working on improving contacts for two-dimensional layered semiconductors, such as transition metal dichalcogenides, which show promising device performance in the nanoscale regime.
