About BETR
The Berkeley Emerging Technologies Research (BETR) Center is a hub of physical electronics research at the University of California, Berkeley. Through research in materials, processes, devices and integrated systems, the BETR Center drives innovation toward a vision of global ambient intelligence.
The BETR Center brings together a diverse group of engineering faculty with collective expertise in materials, metrology, devices, circuit design, and system architecture.
A central mission of the BETR Center is to connect our diverse group of domestic and international students and postdocs with innovators—the future leaders of the semiconductor ecosystem.
Established to foster academia-industry research collaborations and knowledge transfer, the BETR Center connects leading semiconductor companies with UC Berkeley faculty and students.
BETR Center membership provides access to UC Berkeley researchers, workshops, symposia, and seminars. Members receive periodic reports and enjoy a seat on the Technical Advisory Board.
The BETR Center provides all industry members with detailed annual research and knowledge reports, as well as with exclusive access to members-only website content and resources.
